Porting some discussion over from Slack earlier this evening.
While we don’t know that the rehearsal took place at the warehouse, we heard a similar story from Lisa at the Briarberg meet up. Details were pretty close too, just different times. People in fancy clothes gathered around doing strange things (in Lisa’s story it may have been just…[Read more]

@mike Who do you believe he is?

The song makes me think he just wanted to be free of that Mason part, but maybe he really did want to be free of the OSDM completely. Weird way to quit though.
If he isn’t out, I think @meghanmayhem (partially because I had the same thought) is on to something about him having more power than we thought. And this video was him unveiling himself…[Read more]

Mason or “Mason” went live on FB and appeared to throw away his Mason persona.
https://www.facebook.com/thelustexperience/videos/1968364723484229/
Edit:
The video appears to be gone now, but it featured Mason watching part of the Joyce-Mason-Michelle video with a disinterested look on his face, going to his closet and grabbing an argyle sweater,…[Read more] -

The insistence that we no longer matter, but the charade continues is odd.
OSDM doesn’t seem like the type to hang on to things they don’t need, why waste resources keeping up an act for us?

Roosevelt’s work looks like a lot of art about art, paintings with musical instruments, paintings with other paintings in them. He also has a recurring motif with apples and pears (thanks again to @coryphella).
This image does a couple of things (and I think someone sort of mentioned it on Slack, but I didn’t catch who. Sorry!) The woman seated…[Read more]

So the painting went up later than usual and at first it was one thing and then it was a different thing.
The painting is Mask V by Jose Roosevelt (thanks @coryphella).
Quote is by Sun Tzu: “If you know the enemy and know yourself you need not fear the results of a hundred battles.”

Mixing and matching a bit from both @addisonborn‘s and @bcbishop‘s ideas, but what if The Lust Experience is actually The System?
The System via Horace claims to be pushing us to self-actualization, Noah was doing the same, and in similar ways Lust is too.
Backing up to Ascension, there were a lot of questions about why we were there (and on…[Read more]

What a bonkers night. Joyce is alive! But her “death” was all just to fuck with people? If her death was faked, Mason had to be in on it, so they’re working together (which would sort of indicate they’re both OSDM). Now they’re giving @bcbishop conflicting directives, the hell? As with everything in this, the lines kept blurring and blurring last…[Read more]

While this was heartbreaking to watch, by the end of it, I was left with a small measure of…hope? (I assume that hope will almost immediately be shattered into a million pieces, but let me have it for a second.) I may be alone in thinking this, but the end of Morgan’s speech and the glimmer of a smile on his face as he drove off made it seem…[Read more]

Similar, but different to @bruinbown‘s point. The painting is also sort of, kind of reminiscent of that one Tension image where the senses are scratched out.

@chelsea got me thinking with the full quote and context.
Entering in with OSDM may actually be the path of most resistance. Sure, not in the sense of an actual resistance or even because most people don’t side with OSDM, but in that they’re going to challenge you the most and the most directly. Think of the questions we were asked when buying…[Read more]

On Slack I asked whether this was a message to be Never Silent or to keep your damn mouth shut. With that title, it does seem more like the latter. So what changed? Who or what after all of this time of encouraging people to tell it all is causing everyone: Morgan, Kortney, Mike, Brad, Cristen, and maybe others from being able to speak?
-
Kevin replied to the topic Coffee with Brad 10/25 in the forum SIGHTINGS 7 years ago
So, @nothenrygale, you ‘Never Silent’ someone about a coffee meeting where you just discussed changes in your life. Presumably because there’s some specific change that we should glean you’ve made based on your talk with Cristen, but you remain silent yourself. Why?

@chelsea Wracking my brain trying to figure this one out too. I feel like even if someone came to him and told him the BOS he believed in was a lie created by OSDM again, he would have tried to be involved in a BOS that was totally separate. So what the hell happened?
-
Kevin replied to the topic Message from Russell 10/25: Briarberg is a lie in the forum SIGHTINGS 7 years ago
This is extremely disconcerting. They were heavily involved with BOS in some capacity early on, so if it was actually OSDM (the obvious suspect at this point), what does it mean for, well, everyone?
