To answer @electrichippo, I joined up with the OOA originally due to the mystery surrounding it. I was curious and wanted to see what they were all about and as time went on, I felt drawn to them.
The OOA and Noah are, in my opinion, offering the same thing-a way to change yourself into being a better person-but through two different pathways:…[Read more]

@electrichippo, I wasn’t even thinking about that when I changed it but would it so bad to distance oneself from her? I would love to actually have a sit down with her. She’s definitely captivated me.

@electrichippo If we really want to line this rabbit hole with thorns…
It’s real because we say it’s real.
… could simply mean it isn’t real at all.

@larry yes yes, however I must agree with @electrichippo that the BOS was indeed a true entity in the end. Michelle set has her own agenda that isn’t quite inline with her organization, but I would believe it would be somewhat alike to her bosses… otherwise why would they still be connected?
@nothenrygale mhmm, also very true. -

@electrichippo Stephanie stayed inside.
Did I miss a story beat? It seemed to me that BoS was manufactured by OSDM to make it appear as a splinter group intent on taking down the OOA.

@meghanmayhem yes yes, all true. But we’ve only encountered the “actor” of Samson, as far as we are aware Michelle and noah are truly just Michelle and noah… however Aaron has interacted and was in attendance of the book release.
@electrichippo and I were talking when I noticed Samson/Aaron sneak out of the compound back door, very much…[Read more]

@electrichippo, yes! Jack. That was it, thank you.
Do we know any more about him except for that moment? Is it possible he’s the new suit guy who showed up at the book release alongside Michelle?
Thanks for all the references. I feel like there is still so much of a paper trail that I haven’t managed to fully delve into.

Thank you for putting this together, @pandace88! I’m sure this will come in very handy in the coming months. @electrichippo, I was wondering if you had an opinion on a question I’ve had about Michelle for a while. It seems with every appearance she shows a disregard for the OSDM, the Clockmakers, and just about anyone we assumed was in authority…[Read more]

@kevin – The first wave was directly invited. @mike @kasch @russell were among these.
Second wave was people who heard about it from them or from /r/Arg or Unfiction. I believe these were people like me, @addisonborn and @electrichippo
After that it was mostly word of mouth, podcasts and publications that got the name out

I appreciate you telling us that he is not the real Sean Decker, @electrichippo. Next time, keep that information and let’s see what Shadow Sean does, and then tell us he’s fake. I trust you; we trust you.

Let me know if I’m not understanding your inquiry… The Book of Anoch is the holy book or bible used by the OOA as well as various groups before. Anoch is the God spoken of within this holy book.
I understand that. But the way it’s written in the book so differently from the other rankings or whatever makes me think “nothing is as it seems. Everything is a lie”
Also, didn’t we discover the religious belief part of anoch was a crock of – – error, a crackpot for brainwashing?
** err a crockpot
I’d say the truthfulness of the Book of Anoch is up for debate, same as every other bible ever, in my opinion.
Ah, are you referring to the image I posted in the “Members of the OSDM” post? If so I took the position and look of the word ANOCH to signify it’s the thing above all else, the God. Anything’s possible, there could be more to it, but if so it was never revealed or guessed at.
I have a guess that it will be a reveal in late narrative. As a writer, I know they wouldn’t take the time to let us know Anoch is the “head of the ranks in an organization, over seeing the ranks”, and a “God in a fake religion”. Could it be a reference to Enoch, Noah in the Bible’s great grand father? Time will tell if hope
Yes I was referring to the OSDM members post. Also, if OSDM isn’t a punny reference on bdsm (they’re sort of into torture) than I have inappropriately laughed when seeing the name way too often.
Anything is possible, and even if it wasn’t so, it might become so just because you put it out there on the table. Does this make sense?
Wow. I guess. This thing is one complicated production!
I’m starting to doubt that any of this is biblically related.
But what she said about the narrative… so is it changing based on our own individual interpretation? Did that happen to people with tension or something? It seemed to happen to Larry the playwright working with cast members *suspicious eye glance* ALSO HAS A SHADOW
Ok… In that case, I’m hoping this isn’t going a biblical direction. (projecting)
If it does use metaphor to ancient religious texts, I could dig it. As long as they don’t bring up a jesus, cause thats the guy who stole my bike in 4th grade. (Comedy purposes. Do not get offended)
