Conversely, I’m very glad that she did this.
First, I have a hard time not believing that Cecilia didn’t already have the answers anyway–or rather, that the creators didn’t have to get their answers signed off on at some level. But let’s assume for a moment that they -did- manage to slip something through. Or that Cecilia and the rest of Them…[Read more]

There are three/four options I think are most likely, only two of which seems positive to me:
1. They are retooling their pages, in which case it hasn’t disappeared but rather been turned private for the time being. Risky–as @kevin said, it’s the entrance-way for new people and money to both IG and FB–but potentially possible. This is an okay…[Read more]

Unseen Presence replied to the topic so what do you want now… in the forum SPECULATION 6 years, 11 months ago
Amongst other things, I’m fascinated that I keep processing last weekend in deeper ways as the days are going by. So here’s what I want now, perhaps more specific than before:
I want to be surprised. Specifically and directly surprised. I want the moments where something happens and it catches me COMPLETELY off-guard. That can be a good surprise,…[Read more]

I’m curious, too, whether it was given differently in other groups or if others were just more ready to toss off their clothes. I know one friend of mine took his suggestion literally, stripped instantly and was ready to start following through–simply because my friend was ALSO looking for the edge of being uncomfortable. And apparently, in that…[Read more]

@argentrose I’m glad, really glad, that me being in your group at least was of some small comfort (and for what it’s worth, I was having EXACTLY the same reaction because I recognized both your and Meghan’s names–so what goes around comes around!)
I’m also really glad that you gave such a detailed reaction to your feelings throughout. I am…[Read more]

Duplication. Repetition.
The entire evening was being replicated over and over, group after group, night after night.
And yet, each group had subtle variations. Who led the group. What people were told. Which Deacon was around.
Looking at it that way, I see some potential for this theory. It makes a couple of things stand out in a different…[Read more]

You know, that might explain why when I talked to Sarah in the lounge, she was asking me why her husband (who I didn’t realize was Noah until later) had asked her to meet him there and seemed really upset that he’d done so. If Noah was doing something that was an act–but forced–he might well have wanted her there to keep an eye on her.
Or, for…[Read more]

First, just wanted to say that I appreciate you making a post like this. I, at least, find such discussions make it easier for others to talk as well.
I’ve already posted that I was only really emotionally impacted at this event by Cecilia Sinclair. I, too, was sort of hoping to see and experience something seriously different, dark, perverted,…[Read more]

….okay. Time to chat about my emotions. Or maybe lack thereof. I don’t know if or how people will respond to this, but I finally needed to say it.
One of the questions of this entire experience is about what we want, right? I’ve already talked about how at least PART of what I want out of this is for something to get through my emotional walls,…[Read more]

Unseen Presence replied to the topic What Is Missing in the forum SIGHTINGS 6 years, 11 months ago
And here I come to voice against the idea of it being a stage. “Striking the set and destroying the evidence” could just mean “cleaning everything up.” You strike a set when you’re done with the show–but it can also mean just “cleaning everything up after you’re done”. I’ve called cleaning up after a party at my home “striking the set”…[Read more]

@kasch: It’s worth noting that if the OSDM persuaded the BOS and/or Morgan that the event WAS the ‘real’ event, then his reactions with you and others would seem entirely genuine. I’m not saying that’s what happened, but the OSDM can still be manipulating events and the BOS/Morgan still believe that they’ve gotten to the real event. They’re not…[Read more]

I’m glad to see people reaching a more communicative place again. Letting the differences in how people are looking at this lead to anger will only do one thing–guarantee that the truth never gets successfully determined, whatever it may be.

Wow.
That’s a pretty terrifying idea, Megan. You’re suggesting everything–EVERYTHING–we saw was designed to be what we expected to see. What we desired.
That’s even farther than I’d thought to go yet. You’re absolutely right–we have NO proof that the “first/fake” event actually existed–just the “real” one we all went to because Morgan had…[Read more]

I think you’re very likely right on the money, @russell.
Those with enough power/control/status/wealth quite often do believe they are–or reach a place where they feel they are somewhere along the path up.
In the 21st century, they often ARE untouchable. Steampunk sci-fi has been suggesting this ever-more-yawning imbalance between the TRULY…[Read more]
