@blondie, I agree fully. I’ve been completely open, vulnerable, and honest with my Confidant. I love having someone that I can talk to like that, and that I can trust. I just hope our trust is not sacrificed at any point in the future. Broken trust is one of the most painful things to experience.

@bcbishop, you make a truly terrifying point: “they can get to any of us at any time.” The fact that they know us better than some of our best friends know us, and we know little to nothing about them, puts us in a very disadvantageous position.

I think the more plausible reason is that Stacey doesn’t believe that a trusted employee would act that way, @electrichippo. Glad you’re back, @julierei! Congrats on finishing the race–and who wouldn’t be watching you?

If the investors are stepping in with more of a heavy hand to course correct (e.g., Sinclair rebranding), then damn straight they’ll be reviewing every little piece of data they have so far. They want to know what worked, what didn’t, why people acted the way they did, and why people didn’t. This is all making sense–and I love that they are involved.

You learn quickly @chrysalis359; I’d say the only other thing is to post on the forums as much as you can as well. Active on the forums, active in social media, and active in the community. It’s a great cause to get behind!

@druzicka; I’ve heard of a few people sharing deep dark secrets and their Confidants shared back in turn. However, I think for most of us, we are developing trust with them before getting to the heavier stuff. Most of us have only emailed back and forth 3-5 times.

I am very interested in the comments about the shots taking hold. Maybe it has to do with the same “sickness” that we assumed Noah’s Tim might have. Maybe Mark and Noah’s kids are around the same age and both come from a program. Maybe this is a program trying to develop Future Humans.
