Last night’s “ritual” was meant for the BoS. With @nothenrygale having changed sides, this complicated things, and thus @meghanmayhem was called in. BoS needed to see that their efforts amounted to nothing–a bunch of ashes in a bucket.

At least, that’s what I got from a bigger picture PoV.

It’s a little weird to show something that’s so specifically closely tied to OOA/OSDM to prove the point though. Maybe not weird…but telling?

@meghanmayhem @kasch I agree. Maybe it will heat up, or maybe the burnt mark is the clue…

@meghanmayhem I would normally agree with you, but the burn was definitely the result of sealing the letter. It lines up with a very heavy burn inside the envelope that the wax made. Maybe it was done that way intentionally, but it definitely was made after the empty letter was sealed in the envelope.
