Melissa, @kingkill33 is right. It’s definitely not your fault and you absolutely shouldn’t feel guilty, regardless of what happens.

(I’ve made the decision not to add Otis, as it wouldn’t be true to me. I’d be doing it just for the sake of potential interaction and that doesn’t feel quite right, like I’m playing into the OSDM’s hands or something. I’m responding while not having seen any of his posts directly.)
