Now that I have some time to write, some things from this afternoon that really bothered me, but OOG I honestly don’t know if it was rehearsed like that for Noah to walk across the street like that, but either way it was reckless. For an actor to do that and not worry about his own safety or the liability of the production is just ignorant. I don’t want to believe that Noah was told to be so reckless during rush traffic on Western Ave, which if you don’t know, it gets crazy. On top of that, my profession is specifically focused on safety on sets, I honestly couldn’t believe that I saw others that work on film sets and what we have seen with horrible accidents on set, rush across moving traffic to catch up to some bullshit show. Soo afraid you might miss something. What we all saw on those periscopes is not acceptable in regards to people’s safety and should be noted in the future by both producers and participating parties of these events. No one, and I mean, NO ONE, should ever put their physical health in risk of “being first in line” for a theatrical viewing. I know how excitement can overcome rational thinking, but please, please consider Safety First whenever you are going about your lives, and especially these events.

    Ok Rant Done.

    • Agree 100%

    • I agree @kingkill33. The thing that would truly break my heart is if any of us, including Noah and his kind, were injured due to something that could have been avoided.

    • I feel if someone doesn’t say it, it’s gonna be ok to do stuff like that in the future. If I’m the bad guy for speaking up, so be it. I get that shit all the time on set, but if I’m avoiding someone getting hurt, it’s worth it

    • wishing people stayed safe to enjoy the mystery for another day, never makes you a bad guy.

    • You’re most certainly not the bad guy for speaking up about this. I’m pretty sure most of us felt the exact same way seeing that. Use your heads, dumbasses. Not running into traffic is something we learned in grade school.

    • @kingkill33 Is right. I am a person who works on set and is very adamant about safety. With that being said, I ran across the street while the light was red, and it turned green while I was just crossing in front of cars that starts to move. I thought to myself “WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING YA DUMBASS!?” And Mike is one of my dear film family friends. I confessed this to him and we both had a giggle. But it is no laughing matter. Nothing is worth risking your safety or life. So, don’t do what I did friends.

    • Concur. Thank you Mike.

    • You are absolutely right. Watching Noah cross that street felt like watching a movie…but it’s not. The people on the street and cars are real and that was dangerous and scary. Thank you for the reminder not to get too caught up and put lives in danger.

    • I didn’t think anything of it because I J-walk all the time. But sure I can agree with what you’re saying. It’s not like I ran through traffic like fogger lol the light was red.

      • The light switched on us… I do think it’s a good idea to thing things through first. Something I’ll be more intent on doing, for sure!
