Julie recalls picking: Kim, Buz, Larry, Taylor, Cristen. Dun dun dunnnn.

    • The plot thickens as Julie reveals that those people will be eliminated from Sunday’s event unless she gives up her spot!

But, at the time… for her… it WAS real.

And to paraphrase, the one thing they couldn’t program out of her was her faith. Perception is reality. Might be misguided reality, but it’s still reality, and I for one would rather believe in something than believe in nothing at all, although I won’t do it blindly.

Yes @larry, at the BOS van event, on that last weekend of Ascension, Michelle told us this:

“…the original BOS was an invention, created by an organization that I work for, to help us track detractors and test a new variable. Yes, it was a giant rabbit hole that you all fell into beautifully. But the good news, the GREAT news, is that you,…[Read more]

@michelle Trying to distance yourself from that other famous Michelle? If so, I can’t blame you.

    • M. replied 8 years ago

@electrichippo, I wasn’t even thinking about that when I changed it but would it so bad to distance oneself from her? I would love to actually have a sit down with her. She’s definitely captivated me.

@rizzzoooooo Speaking of who stayed inside the warehouse and who snuck away. The list of those who obviously stayed in could be considered quite compelling. For example, DLB, Sabrina, and London May (aka Sentinel). Who else stayed inside?

@larry BOS might have started as a lie but it became one of the few solid truths.

Michelle’s involvement with the OSDM has perplexed me a good deal too @rizzzoooooo. She seems to be with them but simultaneously against them. She was so amused and seemingly pleased that her bosses were afraid of those of us who made BOS real.

And, yes Aaron Akins was at the book signing, right out in the open with the rest of the “cast.”…[Read more]

It’s not fun unless things get a little messy. I’m done with playing it safe.

I like this very much @lilmsfancpants. If there’s anything I’ve learned throughout my time with OSDM and associated, it’s to keep an open mind and don’t dig your heels in too deeply. That seems a really quick way to end up wrong or marginalized. Around here, things are…[Read more]

@acedefective: That was the only time I can recall hearing the name Jack. The older gentleman who gave the angry speech at the Book Release is only credited anywhere as “The Interrogator.” He didn’t really look like a Jack, but you never know. Maybe Jack was one of the men wielding a gas can that night? Maybe Michelle tired of Jack and knifed him…[Read more]

I’m going to take a wild guess that @thegilded was actually holding some form of hard liquor in the original pic.

Smoke and Mirrors Day – annually on March 29th. The day to recognize the art of fraudulent cunning. I suspect this is a favorite day of the OSDM.

    “Only the active move forward.”

If we do offer poll results for The Powers That Be’s consideration I’ll always take this mantra in mind first and foremost.

I would also take into consideration the potential motives of the nominee, as well as their perceived endurance.

If a newer participant fits these criteria I would vote for them over a veteran.

@acedefective: Perhaps you’re thinking of Michelle’s associate Jack? He was the person Michelle was allegedly speaking to during the park event that @julierei attended in the latest days of the ARG. To quote Julie:

She seemed pretty antsy on the phone with Jack. She kept telling him they’re trying to drag her back in, but she was had no i…

After all this, are we operating under the assumption that she still works with the OSDM as it “proudly presents Lust”?

I can’t say for certain, but since the day Michelle appeared she has been the rogue of the OSDM, it seems she does what she wants, and for some reason the other OSDM let her get away with it.…[Read more]

Anything is possible, and even if it wasn’t so, it might become so just because you put it out there on the table. Does this make sense?

    • Wow. I guess. This thing is one complicated production!

      • I’m starting to doubt that any of this is biblically related.

        • But what she said about the narrative… so is it changing based on our own individual interpretation? Did that happen to people with tension or something? It seemed to happen to Larry the playwright working with cast members *suspicious eye glance* ALSO HAS A SHADOW

          • Ok… In that case, I’m hoping this isn’t going a biblical direction. (projecting)

          • If it does use metaphor to ancient religious texts, I could dig it. As long as they don’t bring up a jesus, cause thats the guy who stole my bike in 4th grade. (Comedy purposes. Do not get offended)

  • @nothenrygale: We were screwed around so hard during the course of Tension and Ascension that I’ve learned better to assume anything as a hard fact, because the moment I do I can be certain the rug will be pulled out from under me. You say your name is Brad so I’ll call you Brad but when I learn it’s really Steve, I won’t even bat an eye… just…[Read more]

I’d say the truthfulness of the Book of Anoch is up for debate, same as every other bible ever, in my opinion.

  • Kimberly Stewart posted a new activity comment 8 years ago

Ah, are you referring to the image I posted in the “Members of the OSDM” post? If so I took the position and look of the word ANOCH to signify it’s the thing above all else, the God. Anything’s possible, there could be more to it, but if so it was never revealed or guessed at.

    • I have a guess that it will be a reveal in late narrative. As a writer, I know they wouldn’t take the time to let us know Anoch is the “head of the ranks in an organization, over seeing the ranks”, and a “God in a fake religion”. Could it be a reference to Enoch, Noah in the Bible’s great grand father? Time will tell if hope

      • Yes I was referring to the OSDM members post. Also, if OSDM isn’t a punny reference on bdsm (they’re sort of into torture) than I have inappropriately laughed when seeing the name way too often.

Here’s another piece of evidence that addresses oracles and clockmakers, from Michelle’s speech during The End:

“Actual faith, you see, that is the one thing we couldn’t program out of you no matter how hard we tried. But you’re not alone. My superiors watching us, right now, in the shadows, they believed in this book too. They hid their belie…

Let me know if I’m not understanding your inquiry… The Book of Anoch is the holy book or bible used by the OOA as well as various groups before. Anoch is the God spoken of within this holy book.

    • I understand that. But the way it’s written in the book so differently from the other rankings or whatever makes me think “nothing is as it seems. Everything is a lie”
