@chelsea the “real” Mason could be a woman. The “fake”/phone call Mason is a man (or, at least, a male voice pretending to be Mason).

The people trying to stop our investigation have, perhaps, mistakenly “written” the character as male.

Exactly @chelsea. I’ve always been unashamedly Team DLB. Although I did not previously know his number, everyone knows me well enough to expect I would try to find the source. And Darren is someone I trust implicitly. It’s certainly making me question everything. The timing of his call to Buz shortly after for example…

I’d say I’m 80% sure that it was Clint in the call @chelsea and I received…

@chelsea Buz didn’t recognize Stephanie’s voice…it’s harder to pick voices out when they’re recorded. Definitely a possibility of DLB.

If Clint IS somehow involved, I’m even MORE curious as to what exactly he sent Stephanie.

@izryn I think Mason is just a facilitator for whoever he works for. Whoever is doing the hacking and who locked out the creators, is far above him and wants to burn this experience and game down

@chelsea Isn’t it strange how the person on the call is calling it “the Creator’s master account?” If it’s DLB or CS speaking, wouldn’t he just say “my account” or “the master account?”

So my phone rang and I saw it was @chelsea calling. I answered, thinking she was calling to talk about Stephanie and what just happened with the calls and recordings, and there was a lot of muffled noises and then a guy in the background:

@coryphella I think that @kasch was with her when she got the initial call. When he called her when we were together, she just answered very tersely, “Yes” “No” “No” “I’m in Pasadena”. So he was asking if they could meet.

I agree with @chelsea here. I don’t think Mason OR a were afraid of anything. Maybe irritated? Or probing each other for information?

I also didn’t get the impression from her interactions with @russell et al. that @joycecarlberg was necessarily afraid of anything Mason was up to either, at least yet. It reads like two predators circling each other.

Just got fully caught up. I find it very interesting that Mason was able to cross reference my number with my name. With inside information like that, I definitely agree with people saying that someone is leaking or selling information to outside sources. However, why would Mason want said data? What is his goal? What I find interesting is that none of us could figure out who 4321 was, even while knowing they were iConfidant numbers, but somehow Mason Silver had access to information connecting 4321 and Taylor.
