I don’t think they’d waste an asset. But alive is a quantitative description of one life or state of being, not a qualitative one. Who knows what he’s being subjected to or become.

Is money the only thing we have that they may be interested in?

When I look at the pictures I see the obvious, but I also the men bidding as slaves. They are slaves to their lust for power and control. Though they are obviously able to determine the fate of another human being are they truly able to determine their own? Strip away their possessions, status and influence over others and what is left?

This is really interesting and supports speculations I’ve had. Do we have any thoughts on the timing of the pictures relative to the Periscope? Also, does the ornamentation on the head of the hooded figure to the right have any known significants?
