If Small Dog Lover turns out to be a big bad I don’t know how I’d handle that. Using doggos and delicious food to cover up sinister acts? That’s heartless.
Def something to ponder though. I still feel like we need more info to help sort all of this out. As @unseenpresence noted, we don’t know who sent this letter and why.

@unseenpresence I feel the same way about being pushed. And that brings up an interesting point about Rico, because that was my impression as well, that the circle-jerk request was just a funny, casual suggestion. And yet, some guys apparently did get naked for him. So I’m wondering if, with other groups, he broached the removal of pants and…[Read more]

Nothing more than…feelings….
Reading through Slack last night, I caught the messages of TheCreators, but before they decided to offer their thanks and ask for our feedback, @larry seemed to be more interested in how our experience at the MSE made us feel. After all, if everything else is smoke and mirrors, perhaps the only real things that…[Read more]

@unseenpresence Haha, I love it, you already have your “Character.” Now if only I can find mine. Maybe Zane. I really found him interesting to watch.

@remrelganaps I’m going to echo @unseenpresence here and thank you for starting this thread as well. (And thank you to @unseenpresence for sharing your story.)
I had similar feelings after going through Anointment. I was challenged to confront insecurity about my body, which was certainly liberating, and @shinobi and I shared the latest in what…[Read more]

@unseenpresence, I think you’re on to something. Is it possible that the “real” ritual might have been what they were doing upstairs??

@unseenpresence Just FYI, you tagged the Shadow version of me. I’m just @larry. 🙂

I’m not sure if “impressed” is the proper word, @unseenpresence.
“Awe-struck” might be more appropriate. Mrs. Sinclair is no ordinary woman, I suspect.

@unseenpresence, I realize it’s not _that_ odd. I just think it’s a noteworthy choice in this particular context.

We’ve had the rug pulled out from underneath us SO many times and throughout all of that, Noah’s message has remained the same.
That’s certainly the reassuring take. A bit of solid ground in a field of quicksand.
…Except for that niggling detail in Noah’s bio about him kicking his father out of his own company, right at the very beg…[Read more]

I wouldn’t be too shocked @unseenpresence at the happiness.. we did sign up for a “celebration of life, love and harmony” after all!

@unseenpresence Whenever “why?” comes up, I always retreat to the themes set up at the start.
1)Plato’s Cave — We’re constantly distracted by the show on the wall. Are we learning anything in the process that will allow us to escape the cave, and return with enlightenment for others?
2) Ouroboros — The constant cycle of rebirth, which can…[Read more]

@unseenpresence – fine. A lot of us have secrets. I also don’t think of “having secrets” as being corrupted.

@larry @unseenpresence What’s funny is that one doesn’t need to stand outside to understand that we are all mice, and that one force is likely behind it all. One just needs humility… and, well, we as human beings aren’t too good at that.
This kinda goes back to something we’d been discussing previously, @larry. The only thing we can really…[Read more]

One of my strengths, which can often work against me, is that I’m an “idea guy”. I toss out ideas relentlessly to see what sticks. Most ideas are bad, but still have utility because they shake the tree.
But some…some hit the bull’s eye.
Your comparative objectivity certainly has value, coming as it does, now.

In the end, emotional honesty is about risk. I guess I’m trying really really hard to stay in that space because, despite what may be lost, I can sleep at night.
It’s easy to get locked into one idea and think that’s what the theme is. My mind just tries to find organizing principles. Chaos isn’t exciting to me, or interesting.…[Read more]

I think we’re getting too lost in the weeds, although I see what you are saying.
There’s so much smoke and mirrors and distraction that I can only return to the same places. First, @bcbishop and I have discussed this at length. All we can do is try and be present and respond with emotional honesty in any given situation.…[Read more]

@unseenpresence – I’m on a very short break but I’m interested in your definition of “game,” as my understanding is that normally it is defined as having (among other things) specific consistent “rules.” This is absolutely interactive storytelling and immersive performance, but we as the “players” have no reassurance whatsoever that there are…[Read more]

@unseenpresence On an interpersonal level, objective truth becomes less important. I like you, you like me, we are friends. Behavior and feelings pretty much rule the day. It hopefully doesn’t matter if I think the moon is made of green cheese and you think Satan is your Lord and savior.
On a societal level, objective truth is what must…[Read more]

in today’s world, that seems to be ALL that matters. Winning. It doesn’t matter if you’re right or wrong, if you’re speaking the truth or fiction.
The one thing worth fighting for is objective truth. Throw that out, and what’s left are lies. If one calls relentlessly defending objective truth as “winning”, they should be prepare…[Read more]
