@kasch I agree with what you’re saying to a certain extent, but I also think there’s a difference between a rebellion and a resistance. It’s like the difference between the French Revolution and the French Resistance, which is huge in terms of power, numbers, and methods of operation. The BOS’s recruiting methods seem odd, but I assume they’re…[Read more]

Also, sign up for a Slack account, if you haven’t already. That’s the best place to ask questions if you’re lost.

You are involved, just by signing up and posting on here. Also, you could buy a ticket to The System. I’m new here, too, but I think I’m getting a handle on things, and people here are good at answering questions. Just follow the new posts on here with the Activity thread, and you’ll be fine.

The lesson seems obvious: if you want something, take it. It’s just a literal representation of everything The System teaches.

I kind of expected something like this. I knew there was no way Noah was just going to hand out a “nice” task, just to be nice. “You think should be yours” seem to be the key words here, or at least the most interesting to me, and they can be interpreted in several different ways. I don’t know, it’s an intriguing task, even if it makes me dislike…[Read more]

Free will has always been a given for me, but lately, since I started reading Alan Moore’s Jerusalem (which is all about how everything is predetermined and free will doesn’t exist), I’ve felt almost like I don’t want to believe in free will. There’s something comforting about the idea that none of your choices matter, because they’re not really…[Read more]

I learned that people take offense to tearing up cash.

I have some questions for the people who feel good about yesterday: Do you really feel like giving away $1 or $5 or $10 to a homeless person made any real impact on their lives? Do you often hand out money to homeless people (your own money)? If not, why not? If so, do you feel like you’re making an impact each and every time, and do you feel…[Read more]

I tore my money up. Seems to be a source of controversy but I stand by it.
It was nice meeting you Sage, Addison, and everyone else I met.
