Hey everyone – I am leaving on Friday to design a show in NH for two weeks and given the time difference and the fact that it’s an outdoor show and techs at night, I am likely to miss Periscopes and other things…and also I’m basically traveling for most of the summer, to somewhere. So, regarding Otis – I have a couple of theories about who the “King” is because I do NOT thing it’s Horace. I think the King is someone that we know and don’t expect, I think Otis said as much.
Horace is a 10.

I don’t think there’s any reason to attack people’s innocuous posts – some don’t know how to contribute to larger, deeper discussions, or are genuinely intimidated by them and still want to feel that they are contributing. Not much is going on. Chill out.

Not knowing what to post or feeling intimidated is totally understandable at times, but saying literally *anything* is not necessarily contributing. Oh per yesterday’s discussions we all seemed to think that 6/3 was probably no longer a thing…not an official declaration from TPTB, just an educated guess on our parts. The 6/3 post has since been deleted I think. But who knows. I’ll be driving to Fargo tonight so I’ll miss whatever it is.

@wanda102 – WOW, great catch with the alchemist painting!! The lighting designer in me is fascinated because obviously in the full painting, the focus is on the alchemist and our attention isn’t on the assistant at all, but in the cropped version the contrast almost feels like it’s been changed to intentionally pull the eye towards the assistant…[Read more]
