I think @nothenrygale, you rather prove @bcbishop‘s point. Those of us that are supporting Joyce, and perhaps by proxy the OSDM, are separating the actions of an organization from it’s goal and the “product” it’s providing. You, too, separate the actions of BOS in hoodwinking it’s own recruits in support of it’s goal and the way it fulfills a…[Read more]

Concurring with @shankfx22 and @kevin here that the presence of a futurist painting about the collision of Old vs New is a window to what’s to come. As far as goals…OSDM as always is mining emotional data, and perhaps seeking to bring back Anoch in the flesh. BOS wants to stop that; at least, that what we’ve been told they want so far. Things…[Read more]

As we all eagerly await the next page, whatever path you find yourself on, let’s remember that last image. Joan of Arc, who loved those she fought for even as they turned against her, and burned for it. And let’s be better. 🖤

I want to say my initial response to Joyce, and in that sense my continued response to her, was that she should consult with me out of curiosity as to what I can do for her. The response you quoted came later in reaction to some initial backlash to her presence, but still very much reflects my dialogue with her.
You make a valid point: I am…[Read more]

I don’t think it’s about being smart enough, per say. Chapter 2 was all about not seeing what was right in front of us, so I’m trying to go more retrospectively face-value on this.
The midnight commission’s admin went by “zerozerozero,” a subtle clue in retrospect; Morgan uses many online handles that are a step away, referencing “oneoneone.”…[Read more]

@thegilded I would have thought that MC disguised itself as a cipher-heavy ARG to attract the many brilliant minds that are into that kind of thing, and to ensure they were in attendance to hear what The Resistance had to say. I don’t know if Midnight Commission was so much warning us about our addiction, as using it to their advantage.

Thing is, I knew both that it was Midnight Commission and that the calls were being dropped at first per the active Slack community MC itself created. Not to mention, before the calls cut out, they clearly identified themselves as “The Midnight Commission.” So if you allowed that to interfere with your experience here enough to post on forum that…[Read more]

@coryphella I think it’s worth noting. We’ve seen the Orestia all over the Facebook art for a while now. And based on the events of the weekend, I’d think a story about vengeance is certainly relevant.

@the-creators thank you, I sure as shit know I needed to hear it.
And I say this as much for myself as everyone else: Experiences push and change us. But experiences end. We don’t. I hate to see anyone give up on us.

I solved all of those inane puzzles for what I thought was a charming exploration of my fears. My favorite was the Houdini cipher. Houdini the skeptic. I guess I just wasn’t being skeptical about the right people.
Then again, I still didn’t sign your little fucking book.

Correct use of “fewer” over “less?” Don’t mind me, I’ll be over here ordering Joyce a floral arrangement.
