I follow a similar path to @electrichippo. I don’t see it as taking sides, but rather listening with an open mind to all people who interact with me. I’m happy to offer my skills to them and be vulnerable.

To be specific, I’ve had a call from Sarah and a call from Kristen now and enjoyed both calls very much.

@electrichippo, excellent words. I also wanted to expand on a point that you made. Anyone in a business always has relevant stakeholders. You are always accountable to someone, whether it’s investors, a manager, or your customers. It is very rare that a business exists that does not rely on the input of someone above or adjacent to you.

Sarah just called me as well regarding my application to the open position.

She introduced herself and asked if I liked books–because my email to her felt like reading a novel. She’s not only impressed with my words, but with the intent behind them. I appear to have her attention.

@phisher13, I really hope the people behind that came forward and apologized. There’s been a lot of this kind of stuff happening lately; and I hope it doesn’t ruin the experience for you. The Lust Experience has been fantastic so far, so keep your head up and moving forward!

That’s one thing that always impressed me about experiences like this, @electrichippo. There are those moments of such beauty and honesty–moments that really wouldn’t come about in another context.
