As an alternative to voting, maybe some kind of Tension-esque puzzle to solve for those that are available could work? Might help to avoid some drama from a public vote.

One more interpretation of the logo for the theory pile. People have mentioned dousing the flames to get at the key, but what if it’s more literal and the flames are the key? Dumb question. Is the key behind the flames or in the flames?

And now that I’ve been staring at it for a few minutes. Are the flames part of the key?

@thebuz I like this line of thinking. The eye is viewing its own shadow, of course. Just as some people have been confronted by their own shadows on the boards. To @hazelverse‘s point, the eye in the picture wouldn’t be able to see the key. Maybe there’s something there about being focused on the shadows and not being able to see the key?

Probably worth noting for those who’d forgotten, (I definitely did and the character guide on the subreddit helped me remember) several phone calls people received ended with the phrase, “Never silent.”

@coryphella Yeah, same message for the most part. @bcbishop‘s message with weird capitalization was a hint at what we needed to do with it.

The puppy picture @bcbishop has a message in it too. I wondered why it had been uploaded on DropBox and checked it out after people pointed out the message in the pancake image. Looks like we didn’t catch on quick enough there…
