I don’t believe that this community is toxic. There is some discontent sometimes, but there’s bound to be some of that. I just thought that the narrative seemed to use the cycle of abuse as a guideline to how to psychologically keep players coming back for more and it scares me if I’m being totally honest.

I was there and I can tell you it isn’t as bad as you may think from reading this thread. Sure @thebuz picked four people to go with him Sunday, and some people got upset, but it’s an exaggeration that we just simply disbanded. Some people left. I’m not about to exclude anyone because of a stupid email. I just thought that the “losers,” especially the new people like me, needed a rallying call and an entry point where they could make friends and get caught up.

Maybe if tonight is fruitful and there is demand for more meetups, we can meet somewhere more under 21 friendly. Golden Road Brewing is pretty cool and they let people under 21 hang out. Also Game Haus….I will always push for Game Haus.
