Even if the person didn’t mean to cause all of this backlash, I think coming forward with an explanation/apology is the best thing to do.

If the person who did this cares at all, they should just come forth and own the fuck up. That might help some of those who are weary from here on out. I am more frustrated for the creators as they deserve way more respect than this bullshit.
