This is a great time to remind everyone that some people who join forums and events like this are genuine creeps and some might even be psychotic, and not only do we not have to engage with people like that, we shouldn’t casually agree to meet strangers from the internet who no-one knows yet. We should also discourage others from doing that, because it’s 2017, we’re not on AOL any more, and bad shit happens every day to people that don’t take precautions.

There are some serious outdoorsmen here. And people who aren’t me actually spend time outdoors in the winter.
I actually do always carry a knife with me. Precaution.
I think a lot of what we are perceiving as creepiness is actually an affectation designed to garner a response, in game… but, I totally agree. Stranger Danger.
