      Hey guys, finally am able to sit down and write out what happened to me. It’s been a little overwhelming since…

      Once I heard it was happening in K-town, I already had a plan to go eat all you can eat Korean BBQ (which was delicious!). I carpooled and didn’t drive, so after we finished eating, @russell brought me to the location. Russell, @thebuz, @cristen, and myself arrived at around the same time. The security guard at the door got a call, and then let us in before the others got there.

      We had a few minutes in the room. Not sure what’s been mentioned yet, so apologies if it’s been said. There were 10 chairs set up in a circle with clipboards and name tags on each one. The chairs were set outwards, so when we all sat down, our backs would be to each other. Since we had some time to kill before the others got there, I went into escape room mode. I looked under the chairs, inspected the walls, etc. Didn’t find anything though :/

      Once the others got there, the security guards asked us to sit down and then Sarah Sinclair came out. She circled us a couple times, like a shark, and would stare at each person’s eyes when she was in front of them. I kept my eyes on her the entire time and made eye contact whenever I could. She stopped circling, stood by the snack table, looked at me and said “You”. I just stared back blankly at her waiting for her to say something else. She then said “Yes…YOU” and I nodded. She asked me to come stand next to her. Once I did, she mentioned how she was observing us for the last 10 minutes and because of that observation, I was to leave. Apparently she said something as I was leaving, but didn’t hear her. So maybe Sinclair Industries doesn’t like people searching for hidden things or prolonged eye contact.

      I was escorted out of that room and was on my way out when there was an older gentleman working in the first room we came into. He was very friendly and struck up a conversation with me. He asked me if I was part of that “theatre thing” and that a movie director had rented the space and how he was hoping for a movie being shot, but instead got some theatre thing. We spoke for a few minutes and he asked me to help him with something. He asked me to bring the mop bucket to the next room (the room in the middle of this and the room where the group was). I did and he said he would pay me for my help. I declined and he insisted. He said he was going to take me to Carl’s Jr. and to get whatever I wanted. I told him I was stuffed from KBBQ, so he said to just get dessert.

      On the ride over, we had some general chit chat. He told me he loved Country Music and recently met the most beautiful girl he’s ever met. He asked me if I had one of those fancy phones. So I opened my phone up to put on a country station on Pandora for him, but instead started asking me about Facebook. Apparently the woman he met told him that she would find him and then hit him up on Facebook…but there’s an issue…he’s not so good with technology. So he asked me to create a Facebook account for him. I told him “Of course” and he gave me some basic info to create the account. I told him I needed to take a picture of him for the profile and he let me. I told him that I’d be his first friend and that I’m sure a lot of people would be his friend to show the woman he met what a popular and cool guy he was. He did give me permission to talk about this. I made sure to specifically ask him in the car. So if you’d like to add him, HERE’S THE LINK. He’s super nice, and was not part of the focus group, so please be respectful. Let’s help him get the girl! Also, a fun fact, his name (Otis Fletcher) is an anagram for Reichsflotte

      We got to Carl’s Jr and he bought me a shake and then he brought me back to the focus group address. I had no car, so I figured I’d just wait for everyone to be done so I could get a ride. After a few minutes, I see Noah come out of the building. We look at each other and I give him a head nod and then I hear “Fuckin Mike Fontaine! Last time I saw you, you were getting your dick rubbed in a bathtub full of blood”. He asked me what I was doing there and told him I was supposed to be in his focus group but got kicked out to which he said “Yeah my wife’s a cunt sometimes”. At this point he grabbed my shake and started drinking it…through my straw. He then told me he had to go talk to some people and that it would be a while and I should leave. So then I tried figuring out where my ride was and headed that way.

      I caught up on the Periscopes (thank you guys!) and saw Noah getting arrested. He wasn’t sloppy drunk when I saw him, but not sure on the time frame from when I saw him until he busted in.

      Otis sounds like such a nice, generous guy! Definitely added. Did he happen to mention what’s happening next in his space? Thank you very much for this, @mike. Incidentally, what milkshake did you choose? Noah is so rude! Public intoxication and now milkshake theft? He’s out of control. Sinclaire Industries better get in front of this STAT.

      Yep. Nothing suspicious at all with Noah… the real question is why did you drink a shake from Carl’s jr? Jk. “I will drink your milkshake with my straw”-there will be blood. Thanks Mike! Great read!

      Also, @macbethinabathtub didn’t you make a joke about Carls Jr today? I read that while I was writing this up thinking “If you only knew!!” haha

      @tyson – It was actually really good! I haven’t had one from there before. I was surprised

      THIS is awesome. I love Otis Fletcher, he sounds like my dad who at the age of 72 is meeting women online and taking them out to lunch! You GO Otis!!!

      So, Re: Otis. You set up this facebook account for Otis from your phone? Did Otis have a computer with which he planned on logging in? Did he ask a ton of questions about how he could log in and check this newfangled facebook account after you two would part ways?

    • #5439

      @mikim – No, I told him I would do it when I got home since I couldn’t do it from my phone. He didn’t ask a ton of questions, but I told him I would email him all the instructions. So I created it, emailed him, told him what he needed to do, and that’s where we’re at 🙂 I saw he posted something, so I know he at least logged in.

      Yeah… gotta admit, I’m a little suspicious of the Otis interaction. @mike, how is Otis so in-the-know about who rented the location and for what purpose? And, wouldn’t the powers-that-be have rescheduled Otis’s mopping to avoid interfere with the focus group?

      @mike Did he change his password or are you still lurking? sorry but I’d be remiss if I didn’t ask.

      Otis seems way too sweet. I’m already awwwwwww-ing all over the place. I’m such a sucker for a guy like him. The only thing this could mean is: It’s a trap! RIP my heart.

      @electrichippo
      – I’m not sure…once I set it up, I closed out and sent him the info. He was so super nice that I didn’t want to betray any trust he had in me. 🙂 He was so genuine and happy ya know? It was infectious.

      I, obviously, find the Otis interaction *quite* suspect, hence my questioning. It seems peculiar that one who refers to smartphones as “those fancy phones” would even be totally capable of following emailed directions on logging in to facebook (or posting for that matter) – but that could just be the IT in me coming out to play.

      FWIW: I would not be shocked if he were going to play out some sort of tragic lust/failure/etc (relating to this woman) timeline before our eyes.

      @mikim
      : Those were my initial thoughts exactly. Either we’re about to watch a sweet guy get his heart trampled (or worse) or he ends up being evil incarnate who tramples our hearts. I’d much rather he just be a nice older man who might ask me to Carl’s Jr for shakes one day.

      haha @electrichippo it’s me. It was just a good conversation. I was super pissed and bummed when I got kicked out and then this guy comes and is nothing but nice and chatty and buys me a milkshake for a simple gesture of kindness.

      @mike possibly. BTW, I don’t mean to imply that you were wrong to take him at his word and help the guy out. Maybe it was genuinely an OOG interaction and Otis is going to go and get the girl and ride off into the sunset with her. But, maybe not.

      I just had another terrible thought. What if one day we are instructed to do something to a nice man named Otis or someone similar. Would we?

      And now a crazy theory… What if Aleister Gordon is back in the form of kindly Otis Fletcher!

      I’m absolutely suspicious of the random country bumpkin custodian who happens to be cleaning an empty warehouse at 4pm on a Sunday where an immersive theater event is happening…then offers to buy a stranger a milkshake at Carl’s Jr.

      The not having Facebook is less suspicious to me as older fellows like my Dad won’t go near it, but darn straight I want to be his friend…

      I find something very interesting. Sarah told me at the bookstore to let the past go and I thought it meant to forget the OOA/Tension/OSDM, but here Noah straight up told @mike he is in fact the OSDM Member we met within the OOA and not a completely different “character”.

      Even though we’ve been theorizing all this time about the connections between Tension and Lust, this is the first true confirmation of those events actually occurring within the current narrative.

      After hearing @mike’s story, I Friended otis, as several of us have. i have had a few chats with him, mainly casual friendly stuff about technology and the potential (and pitfalls) of Facebook. One thing he said did strike me. @mike stated…

      He told me he loved Country Music and recently met the most beautiful girl he’s ever met….

      Apparently the woman he met told him that she would find him and then hit him up on Facebook…but there’s an issue…he’s not so good with technology.

      He did confirm with me that the reason he had expressed interest in Facebook was because of a woman. He admitted to me he was nervous “to go up to a girl” just like a teenager and that “the affection of a lady drove me here.” (Referring to Facebook.) So, it seems Otis has confirmed to me that he is looking to connect with this woman he met. It will be interesting to see what we learn of this gal and if we learn more about their meeting. (And… I hope she is a good person, Otis seems incredibly nice and sincere and deserving of happiness.)

      Otis said he didn’t want to reveal his lady friend’s name without permission from her first. He also said he met her after he messed up his knee moving a heavy table. He described her as a physical therapist of sorts. Otis said these things just a couple days ago.
