Very salient point @bcbishop. Do we have two rival factions working against each other? It not out of the question that “The Investors” aren’t the same for both companies. Maybe the New Testament Book of Anoch folks are down with iconfidant, while The System is keeping Old School?

@iambalrog I didn’t find anywhere that man holding the painting was anyone specific, more likely a metaphor for peace being won on the shoulders of those who have sacrificed for it. The painter is Matteis himself, styled as a haunting self-portrait.

@thebuz it’s a scary thought but a sleeper cell situation will only affect those that have close relationships with their iconfidants, which appears to be very few of us.

Rosa made this painting, “Human Frailty,” after a plague in Naples wiped out most of his family. There is a lot of imagery here to pick art.

I’d say that this research, paired with the Lust logo and the imagery on the book @bcbishop narrowly missed in the hotel, certainly reveals a connection. I’ve quickly learned not to always trust things to coincidence anymore.

@shankfx22 You raise a good point. This is Chapter One. There’s still a much larger story just outside the one we’re seeing.

This has always been designed to break our hearts. Even if we don’t have a connection to Kristen, Noah, Stacey, our strongest connection is to each other. How frightening, the idea of love as a weapon.

I got the feeling that Otis wasn’t alone in the room when he did his video over the weekend, and it’s very obvious that Stacey wasn’t alone in her video today. If only we could zoom out on these images, too. There’s always a bigger picture. What…or better WHO…aren’t we being shown?
