@anakindrew, I agree there might be some an apothecary or alchemical link here. Early on in LUST, I felt like some of the symbology might be related to alchemy. I looked around on the web a bit, but didn’t come to any “a-ha!” kind of conclusions. Maybe it’s worth revisiting at this point in the story?

Oh, man… I get, like, four or five calls every day from numbers I don’t recognize. Kills me to think one of them might have been a missed LUST call (I assumed IG calls would always show up as “unlisted/unknown”).

Lesson 1: When it comes to LUST, never assume anything.
Lesson #2: I better learn to love chatting with telemarketers.
