I think this quote is about intention. Sun Tzu is saying that subduing without fighting is the pinnacle of generalship. That means that the “war” being fought is not a traditional attack that is aimed to break down or destroy us, rather they mean to have us submit willingly and be useful to them.

Data-mining is often done to prove a theory, support an unproven concept or convince a point of view, right? @kasch I think this is a good point, but Stick Guy was concerned with both the head and the heart while the guy who called @taysavestheday told him to avoid the weaknesses of the heart. Which just makes this even murkier.
