In retrospect, I think the 424 voice answering “yes” in response to me asking if it was Mason was actually a response to one of my “hellos,” hence the confusion. There were a lot of long silences and shuffling sounds so I said “hello” several times.

I’m with Bryan, as well. Reading the “Silence” definition now, I can see what you mean, @nothenrygale. But at the time of voting, it seemed ambiguous and still felt like a vote against the OSDM, which put the abstainers off. It was too much like a one-party election.

@daela Joyce was the first thing that crossed my mind, and I think you’re right with the other examples. It’s like it’s a call to be more emotionally present. But then, everything seems like a reproach lately.

I find the juxtaposition of the words and image interesting. One is saying that only our present reality affects us, and the other is questioning reality itself. It sends my brain into a loop.

We don’t even really knows its goals, so how can we know its vulnerabilities if we don’t know its goals?
