I forgot to mention her Freudian slip, and in retrospect it may not have been a slip at all. When she said “back end traffic” she actually said “back end trap– traffic”.

@meghanmayhem I had the same wonder about that leather bound notebook… it could be our emails printed out and bound together. Also some of the pages are blatantly folded or maybe marked?

In a lot of these, what is being cropped out is either a literal trap, or leaves the subjects trapped in some way.

It would be one thing if these paintings cropped out a door frame or a random dog in a corner or something, but there are very significant things deliberately being cropped out that tell the whole contextual story.

@meghanmayhem there also looks to be a contrast between Satanism and Duskism when we consider how we are being called upon to “submit.” There seems to be “His” overarching Will that would superceed our own.
