I believe a was actually suggesting they don’t go to the Briarberg meet up because at the same time they indicated that everyone should refresh their pages for the correct month for Anointment.

That does support @meghanmayhem‘s idea that Mason’s takeover of the account was fairly recent (those interactions occurred on 9/6).

Everything about this is fucked up. Mason sat by while his daughter’s mother was beaten, let her suffer, taunted her, and then, and then made his daughter say goodbye to her (presumably while she was alive, but who the hell knows). @111error Do you think he stepped in to help BOS because he saw some mutual interests or because he was only interested in using it for something? Did Briarberg want something specific?

@remrelganaps Why keep her around though? Mason has shown he’ll use people for his own ends to get what he wants out of them and then drop them. He got what he wanted to get out of Joyce (a public confession about the retreats and whatever else he’s had time find out) and then got rid of her when she couldn’t provide him any more information.

Beating a dead horse here, but I just don’t see how Mason can be trusted in this instance. Everything he’s done so far has been to string people along until he can cause them some level of harm.

I don’t think Sarah would be the mother of Mason’s daughter, I doubt Horace would have stood idly by while she was pregnant with someone else’s kid.

Building off the point that this is Mason’s point of contact, Jaime’s spiel sounds exactly like Masons’s early attempts to reach out. He wants info on the actors and people involved with The Tension Experience. Unlike Mason, he won’t even mention a topic as a pretense though. Mason at least pretended to ask about ethics in immersive theater.

It’s very possible Jaime does agree with Mason’s methods. Mason had mentioned that he was working on his research project at the behest of a board member. Now we’ve got a member of The Briarberg board reaching out.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Jaime was the one Mason was working with.
