“Tragedy struck today as a massive failure of the iConfidant program caused the deaths of the entire beta test user base. The only survivors being @hazelverse and @lilmsfancpants who opted out and was not selected to join, respectively.”

I got accepted, I had done the initial email. Then I followed up once, never hearing anything back. Then I was doing the Sinclair Insider stuff and once that didn’t pan out in my favor, I got this email today. Which is nice. I thought my journey had ended for now.

Oh man, and do I have a DOOZIE of a picture:…[Read more]

It appears that this is a couple that may have been in love once. They created a business together–Sarah was the mind and the will, Noah as the face and the charm. Together, The System rose in popularity. However, with time, small resentments grew and cracks developed. It started small at first. Stonewalling, condescendence, passive aggression.…[Read more]

    In the pro-Sarah camp:
I image it is hard to love someone so unpredictable as noah. These last few interactions, I really feel for her. I connect most with that difficult challenge of loving someone who is an addict, recovering, unstable, or even just generally not in a good emotional place (for their relationship). And that struggle plays out to…[Read more]

  • Amen…. whats amazing to me is how personal all this is to me. That being said, inherently when something is so personal people have the ability to forget that this is a play/game, immersive theater whatever you’d like to call it. Point being it’s not personal, not from a creators perspective it’s just part of the story line. Not sure if that…[Read more]

    random speculation, post periscope…

Sarah Sinclair is a robot/android/AI/hybrid-human. More specifically, the “missing piece” to Noah Sinclair, provided by IConfidant (at his request?). Unfortunately, something has gone horribly wrong with this particular love connection. Maybe Sarah’s part of the .03% (IConfidant boasts a 99.7% success rate).…[Read more]

@kasch She’s been rocking them ever since her day in The Last Bookstore.

Oh, and I should therefore mention that the one thing people seem to be missing about them is having some compassion for them, which I discussed on another thread.

@maxzumstein, I feel exactly the same way after seeing her on Tuesday too. I haven’t met her in person, but I’m not getting a creepy or evil vibe from her at all. She’s trying to hard, it’s awkward for sure, but also kinda enduring. Noah is just hilarious… And together they’re a comedy.

I’d be friends with both of them… They remind me of…[Read more]

@k-w-t When she mentioned Timothy it came off to me as “Oh yeah, here’s a way for me to further present my case that we have a happy and heathy family” and less of a “Oh right we have a son”.

But that was my take away of it

  • Meghan Mayhem replied to the topic Sinclair Periscope 4/20 in the forum SIGHTINGS 7 years ago

So “united” that Noah was basically making a grocery shopping list in his head during that broadcast.

He made sure I was watching and snuck in a joke. Underwear. Teehee.

I love this sneaky little scamp.

His aggressively enthusiastic ending reminds us to think for ourselves. In the end it’s not what the people around you think, you’re in this al…[Read more]

  • Something that struck me about the periscope (aside from Noah’s rant about how we are all alone) was that Sarah seemed rather off. Did it appear to anyone else that she seemed to forget that her “darling son Timothy” exists? Maybe I’m reading too much into certain mannerisms, but something about her presence seemed very staged, like she almost…[Read more]

I am so confused with what Noah was trying to convey at the end. It dosent make sense

  • Max Z posted an update 7 years ago

Well that Noah sure is a sparkplug. Feel a little bad for Sarah. Imagine having to deal with someone so erratic on a day to day basis.

  • @bcbishop I wholeheartedly agree with this.

One of the most amazing things about Tension to me is the strength of the community it created. In fact, one of my biggest hindsight regrets about Tension was that I wasn’t able to engage in that as much as I could have.

I think that regardless of who we side with, what paths we take, or what…[Read more]

@bruinbown so I think the real question here is will the potential iConfidant meet ups also take place in 1999? ?

@tyson I just had a thought about the quote, “Sometimes we think we see someone, but it’s not the person we think it is. They just look exactly alike”. What if we interpret it not to be about an actual doppleganger of someone, but rather how we “see/know” a single individual (“Sometimes we think we know someone…”, etc.). Talking about the diffi…[Read more]

I don’t know about y’all but the news is boring and I vote for the colorblind dude who put a goddamned kitten rescue in his video.
