@coryphella Let’s say you’re the world’s best plate spinner. You’re fucking great at it, nobody else even comes close. You’re out there on the stage, spinning all those plates, the audience is gasping in amazement. Great, you’re the best in the world at spinning plates. But, does keeping all those plates in the air make you happy? Are you so…[Read more]

@coryphella Maybe the problem isn’t those things that you hate about yourself, but *THAT* you hate yourself in the first place. If you’ve been fighting it for 20+ years, and gotten nowhere, does that mean that it’s an unwinnable fight, or does it mean that your strategy hasn’t been working, and that it’s time to try a new one? You *CAN* find…[Read more]

@coryphella If you truly already believe it won’t help you in any way before you’ve already done it then don’t do it. We don’t waste time around here. If you kind of secretly hope maybe something might come out of it without really sort of giving it your all and taking a meta stance about who and what it means on six different levels of your own…[Read more]

@coryphella good point. I see a lot of therapeutic elements to immersives, but you’re absolutely right – there’s (often) no formal training in place by those who put them on.

We’ve gotten enough of a “meta” narrative by now to know that it’s all a piece of theatre and signing up for BOS is likely no different from signing up for the OSDM, and probably just as pointless. Trying to play a game and pick the right side seems artificial to me. I’m here for the maze. We’re all fucked.
As much as I want to sup…[Read more]

I love this discussion. I’m more or less here because of Westworld, because of this need for narrative that we all have. And I was thinking about this today, how some people see this as a game, others simply as an experience, or as a piece of theater, or as a Choose Your Own Adventure story, or as some sort of therapy. But if it’s a game, it’s a…[Read more]

@theladyj Would probably have to be a faction aligned around not buying any of the convenient, pre-digested narratives we’re being fed on all sides. That would include “honorable rebel alliance” narratives.
According to the Slack discussion last night (if it’s legit), the retreat ritual was designed to look like theater. It wasn’t. It’s probably…[Read more]

@coryphella Not sure if we’re all going in at the same time or different times, but it’s gonna be late. Not sure if we should give any specifics, but if any Periscopes go out tonight I’m going to assume they’ll be after 11 PM.

Ditto @coryphella, setting an alarm and my filter machine now… I don’t get up early for just anyone. Even though my distance prevents me from participating, I e-mailed. Morgan knows I am working hard to prove my worth following my recent attitude problem. I hope to be of use in the future. Good luck to those being chosen, BOS or not ❤

@coryphella Don’t forget, @chelsea wasn’t the first task. There were a couple others before then, like @larry‘s one to convince 3 people to join The System.

@coryphella It’s possible it could’ve been a confidence thing, but he didn’t say that in his call. He said it was a shame thing. I’ll admit that I do have a fair amount of shame, but it doesn’t tie in with convenience store dirty mags. The task didn’t fit the supposed reason, and as such felt more like a power play.
@thebuz I really don’t think…[Read more]

@coryphella – Presumably it had to be public. If there were other parameters I didn’t hear them. Whole thing was like trying to have a conversation with someone who was in another room. I’m extremely private on Facebook. I don’t like to share pictures or anything personal or even post at all. Presumably it was to target that?

@coryphella , I think Christ could also be Horus in the Egyptian mythology… Resurrection and all. Wich puts Horace as what? Osiris or Ra (the mythology changes for source to source). And If Noah is Osiris, maybe we have a role for little Timmy later on, to revenge his dad…

And @coryphella, after reading the “transcription” (or script?) of your call, maybe all this thing about you loosing/taking control was a twisted interpretation of all we were talking in Slack in “newusers”? I think @coryphella does take whats hers. Her threshold for shit is very low so she has the whip, but doesn’t over crack it; which to me is its own type of power.
