I realized we had a LOT of conversation about this on Slack, most of which did not get ported over to the forums.
It’s worth bringing up now, with Erika’s recent description of the “social”.
Event description:
We at the OSDM, the organization responsible for last year’s The Tension Experience, have finally come to understand that we have done our good work and deeds in silence for far too long.
Sadly, our silence has opened the door for small-minded conspiracy enthusiasts to spread rumors and speculation that we are, in fact, a secret cabal hard at work on behind the scenes machinations that control every aspect of the average citizen’s daily existence. Previously our policy had been to ignore these baseless and wild claims but the absence of truth has only made the lies grow stronger.
With your help, we would like to change this injustice and it begins with the very ticket that you are about to purchase. For the first time and in the spirit of transparency, we are opening our doors and inviting the general public to learn the true spirit of our organization in a one one-of-a-kind, magnanimous and altruistic celebration of life, love and harmony.
Please arrive dressed to impress and with an open mind ready to usher in all of the wonders of the New Dusk that can only be made possible through your cooperation and complete submission.This is a 21 and up event and includes extremely risqué and macabre subject matter. Guests may be offered the option to stay longer than their allotted hour and half run time. Attend in the attire that makes you feel the most attractive.
*Due to the extreme nature of the show and the tight spaces that are required to navigate within, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate anyone in wheelchairs or crutches. Please note the use of strobe lights and fog machines may be used. This event is not recommended for people with epilepsy.

This ticket is the first step in helping the OSDM finally rectify the wild rumors an [sic] unscrupulous lies spread by our enemies as we take an evening to celebrate the spirit of our organization in a safe and care-free celebration of life, love and harmony. Please be aware that this is a 21 and up event and includes extremely risqué and macabre subject matter. The ODSM is not responsible for any moral shifts in attitude or beliefs regarding the concepts of consumerism, greed, love, sex and/or power. Guests may be offered the option to stay longer than their alloted [sic] hour and half run time. Please join us in the attire that makes you feel the most attractive. Address to the event will be sent out the morning of your experience.
Yes, that’s not a typo, the release spelled it both “OSDM” and “ODSM”.
The checkout page required us to ask three questions:
What do you want?
What do you need?
How far is too far?We also had to check a box that said, “I understand that my experience could begin the moment I purchase my ticket, which may include phone calls, emails, and unexpected visits.”
The very specific waiver noted that the waiver also applied to our “heirs”.
