• @coryphella yes, I emailed to ask if they were looking for a data analyst and it also bounced back.
Could be a sick kid, or perhaps the nanobots are starting to have the expected influence/results.

He has talked to me using messenger on the phone in the past

  • I have heard back in around four days. I hadn’t thought to share the whole thing because I didn’t see anything really interesting other that their response to my question about how they became an iConfidant. Maybe someone else will see something.
Backstory: I told them about a nightmare that woke me, an anthology podcast I like to listen to c…[Read more]

@coryphella @voxchaotica (and the rest of the community) Please welcome @tttterri to the Twin Cities group and the overall community. She has no idea what she’s just gotten herself into is the newest member of our crazy little family. She’s brand new so any help you can offer will be appreciated. We’ll have to get together sometime to fill her in…[Read more]

  • By other bots I mean it of game spam bots.

  • Watching this morning and the recent talk of Russians makes me think of all the spam we received a while ago for the Russian looking website for pirated movies. Are we sure that was really irrelevant spam? Have we ever been spammed by any other bots?

I read through the privacy policy that showed up on the site today. To be honest, it’s the only one I’ve actually read. It pretty much says that we consent to the collection and use of all our data. I’m sure it’s probably pretty standard. There’s a lot of people that know a lot about all of us.

  • @kortneydarling Mine did the same thing. That’s why I fell like I was passed on to a person after taking to a robot for a while.

  • Mine was robotic for the first two interactions then went silent for six days. I emailed every other day and then yesterday I got a very different response that was relevant to what I had talked about. They even seemed to have looked into a podcast that I referenced. Or had made insightful comments on what I had shared at the least.

  • I have that feeling of being at the apex of the first drop of my first roller coaster. I’m looking over the edge and thinking, “oh Lord, what have I gotten myself into.”

    And I love it.

    Thank you @thegilded

@coryphella I personally would appreciate any insight that you or any more experienced player may have to offer, especially in situations like this. Some of us are newer and just don’t have the background and experience to see things that are obvious red flags for you. I’m not asking for hand-holding but if you see me running…[Read more]

Yes we will. I don’t want to abuse the system. But there are a lot of things here that make it look like it could be part of the game. If it’s not you had a while lot of coincidences come together atonce.

  • scot replied to the topic Henry Williams? in the forum SIGHTINGS 7 years, 8 months ago

It’s not like you’d be asking, “Oh, is this a clue, should I go there?’ It’s asking, “Does this path that that I may go down exist within the world that you have created and that I trust and can feel out of game safe (but in game I’m probably fucked.”

  • scot replied to the topic Henry Williams? in the forum SIGHTINGS 7 years, 8 months ago

If I recall correctly, after the whole red door fiasco we were told he could serve as an advocate for us in times where we may feel unsure about it safety in a certain situation. In my opinion I think it’s a far question to ask. If it’s in game it could be really cool and unique for you and we’d all love to hear about you going through that. On…[Read more]

@chloe Would this be an appropriate time to have @thegilded reach out and ask for you? I mean because there is a possibility it could be a real life douchebag?

  • I sent a few emails over a 5 day period while mine was silent after providing only the robotic responses. In the first of those emails I asked how they became an iConfidant and if they had other people they spoke with.

Today I received a much more involved communication that opened with, “Scot-
I don’t understand your first email. Because how d…[Read more]

If it’s in game I think it’s awesome! I wonder if you could reach out to your iConfidant and set up some kind of code to verify situations like this. I just got an email from mine and I’ll include that suggestion in my response.

  • I just received my third email from iConfidant. Did not come across as robotic at all and even had hints that he/she (I’m going with they moving forward, even if that’s not grammatically correct) had researched a character in a podcast I referenced. This sounds like a person that I will enjoy communicating with further.

@tyson you’re right we no nothing, and what we “know” means nothing. Even in real life. For example, what is the famous question the wicked witch asks in Snow White? What’s the last line of Queens “We are the champions”. Easy right? Now Google it.
