I’m sure your iConfidant shall bring forth good tidings from the digital war, perhaps even an established personality.

  • Third response from my iConfidant, with my response to their second response not included because I seriously doubt any of you would like my paragraphs of text answering their question of “what is in name?” (which they have now corrected to “What’s in a name?”, even though I did not use that phrase myself in my response. I’ll post it if there is…[Read more]

Good news is, my iConfidant gained sentience and better grammar structure.

Well, not exactly *good* news, but I want to see how far I can go with them.

    I

    ah

have attempted to post my third iConfidant response a few times now in the thread, but the forums won’t let me after pressing the post button – specifically, it breaks the connection entirely and everything I wrote is lost

I got my third response from my iConfidant, and I’ll put it up after taking out a bit more personal information. Unless, of course, I can 100% trust my iConfidant to keep something from Stacey – why would I ever think otherwise?

What if WE were the robots all along trying to convince each other that iConfidant is the robots, man?

It begins – and it seems like I am still missing some valuable information from Tension, so back to information diving I go.

Feel free to ask questions…I’m not sure that there’s anything you’re missing re: today though.

Just got a “No Caller ID” call from one of those automated telemarketing scams where they didn’t even get my age right. And here I thought I had a fool-proof method of avoiding them, now that they’re able to actually have me pick up for them.

    • scot replied 7 years ago

I’m still not sure I’ve successfully allowed them. I didn’t do long bitching unknown callers.

I think I could actually make this – full-costume, masks and all. My business in Japan during that period of time had a (relatively) last-minute cancellation, and I already have those days off, so I’m hype.

Well, shit. How do I format images in the forum? I don’t want to clutter the activity feed with trial-and-error editing.

    • I don’t know how other people do it, I upload to tinypic and then click the image add button and give the address given by tinypic. If you do use trial and error just come back to the activity feed once you’ve fixed it and delete the practice once. They’ll disappear and not clog up the feed

  • I have absolutely no idea if this will work, but the above should be my current conversational chain with my confidant – and I am increasingly tempted to go full-on philosophical in regards to “What is in name?”

    tl;dr: what do

  • Vox Chaotica posted an update 7 years ago

Response from confidant, they’re getting all philosophical on me and had a complete 180 in personality from the initial message. I’ll post it in the thread as an image after I edit out a bit of information.

Can someone be my surrogate signee for the in-person registration? I’ll even send you one of my masks as compensation.

  • Right, I forgot to mention that there is an exclamation point after the name part of my message, so its more like “Hello (Vox)!”

I don’t use exclamation points, so they already failed creating a replica of myself. HOWEVER. The implications of the tone so far seems to match up with the type of confidant I requested in my initial email, but I will…[Read more]

  • Got the message the very minute my class ended. Spooky. First name, last initial as the title with the number “8009”. Simple message, “Hello Vox”. Now I’m just wondering how to handle this while on transit back home.

I’m just surprised there has been no reported email glitching yet. YET.

They’re still going out. Don’t even stress yet, bro. Your weird celestial body senses will surely be tapped at some point.

Also, keep checking your spam folder. Google flags a lot of them as spam

Yes, mine went to Spam first!

Great, now I’m going to have to check my phone at all times for my iConfidant. Fingers crossed they don’t really take my previous jokes to heart, yeah?

    • Oh I’m TOTALLY hoping they took your jokes to heart. I want to see the uber anime obsessed iConfidant!
