I assume for a woman like Sarah to call someone Daddy, she herself (at least at one time) must have felt subservient or afraid of said person.
If IT isn’t robots, and we’re thinking too literally, is it a program? A drug? A tech device? Could it be a genderless title? It’s not I.T. it’s IT, …”IT can’t talk like me.”
