It’s also hard to accept big claims delivered in such a dramatic fashion. In a way that seems to be deliberately out of character for the person delivering it.

I keep going back in my head to the Boy Who Cried Wolf. How many lies are we told before the truth comes out? How do we know when the wolf is actually attacking?

If Briarberg does exist and someone merely wants us to believe otherwise, surely there are better ways to achieve this than, “Let’s get Russell to say it doesn’t exist, with no context or explanation!” I think it’s been clear almost from the beginning that Briarberg is in fact a lie. @larry I hate to say it, but I think maybe someone should: Stephanie is your kryptonite. You have a blind spot when it comes to her, and you should be careful with that.

Morgan reminds me of a Christian trying to save everyone from going to hell. Except at least Christians can explain why hell is a bad thing. I don’t think it’s a glitch. I mean, I received that notification at the time it was posted, so why would I receive another one? And why do they all seem to concern Russell and Mason/Briarberg?

I just realized that all of the Russell notifications that Melissa received belatedly were from posts concerning Mason, and so was the one I received. What about yours, Kevin?

@mkarrett – I also received an e-mail notification of Russell tagging me in a comment, also at 8:58 last night. The tag was from a post from two weeks ago. I thought it was just Yahoo being crappy, but if the same thing happened to you, it’s something else.

I don’t think anyone here should be worried about talking about themselves too much. At least, not here. You, least of all. This was a very interesting read.

If you’re a fatalist, I guess no one can help you. I wish I was a fatalist, but I’m not. It sure would be easier, though.

@bruinbown I think the last example you gave is most likely the correct interpretation. But, still, the way Jaime seemed to reading from a script in her call to Lauren makes me wonder.
