It’s an interesting question, Brad. Just because walking and talking robots have been debunked, does that really mean we have to abandon all theories related to AI, word clouds, Tacitus, and Stacey’s mirroring? I think we’re still on the right track, unless they’ve been feeding us nothing but red herrings all week. We just took it a little too far.
It could still be a great way for them to gather information on people for their all important ‘data’. Or really wondering if it could have just been a one off phishing thing. Or an initial test for a bigger phishing thing.
I really wanted a robot friend. 😔
