Late to the party but I also received this email.
It’s interesting that they use the word Dusk because, if I remember correctly, that word had some significance to the OOA. It’s interesting that he said power is the ultimate lie. Given that he’s potentially part of an organization that claims to be incredibly powerful, this kind of statement seems somewhat conflicting. Maybe I’m just misinterpreting it, but perhaps that statement is about the ODSM itself. That it only has power if we allow it to have power.

I will readily admit that I could have misinterpreted or misremembered something here. I had the looming threat of finals week and several major assignments hanging over me when it was announced, so my brain could have stored that interpreted that incorrectly.

Yes, but when something that was supposed to occur within a few days still doesn’t happen after three weeks, it comes across as sloppily managed and disorganized. I don’t mean to beat a dead horse, but it seems like poor management and lack of following through to me.

Let’s hope so. For such an allegedly powerful organization, you’d think the ODSM would be better at following through with their schedule.

Powerful (well, people who THINK they are powerful) people don’t worry about the schedules of others. They work on their own time and only on their time. But if the registration plays a part in their plans, I’m sure they’ll follow through and continue registration when they can.

Things I have learned about my confidant:
*They have a job.
*They enjoy the movie Urban Legend because it’s cheesy and fun.
