I have had the busiest day at work — only able to log on here for a quick second before I head out! Get this, Friday is usually my late night in the office, but I walked in and told my boss I had to leave early because I had plans. He hemmed and hawed, but I looked him in the eye and said “Tonight is a really important night for me. A friend of mine invited me to drinks and I wasn’t going to miss it. Friends don’t do that to each other.” And you know what? He said “fine.” Granted, he told me I wouldn’t be able to leave early again until the end of the season which is in, like, August, but whatever. I’m just too excited about hanging out tonight. Oh, and I looked up The Escondite… the pictures look really cool. I think this might become a regular hang out place for me. Oh shit, it’s 8:10, I have to run! See ya soon, @nope! I’m buying the first round!
