I really screwed up this morning. I can be such an IDIOT. I messaged my boss’ wife on Facebook. In hindsight, I should have used a fake account. I considered doing that for a secondt, but then worried that might be creepy. I realize now, messaging from my own account is not only creepy-ER, but unprofessional, too. The plan was just to say “Hi.” But then I added a winky face — IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SMILY FACE — damn it. In an attempt to do quick damage control, i fired off a series of nervous messages that only made things worse. I finally stopped after my 8th message. Is there anyway to unsend a FB message? Is it possible to know if or when someone has viewed a message? Fuck.
