Hey….I just got a call. I answered. And I actually, honestly, said “Can you call back in an hour? This is a REALLY bad time.” Because I was in the middle of wrapping up my first pre-tenure review meeting and I fucking answered the phone during it *headdesk*

Wait… just got a random call or got a Official Lust ™ call?
I am pretty sure it was a Lust call but of course, no idea. Let me say this again. IT WAS A FUCKING PRE-TENURE REVIEW MEETING AND I ANSWERED THE FUCKING PHONE!!

How were you able to identify it as a Lust™ call?
OK, this is what I remember about the call (other than the part where I might lose my job…)
1. No Caller ID
2. Guy with heavy accent said a bunch of stuff
3. I said “I think you have the wrong number,” and he said ‘oh I’m positive I don’t have the wrong number,’ and then said my name, badly pronounced. That is why I felt like it was a Lust call. Also, I’m not playing anything else, so it could most definitely be someone fucking with me, but I’m really not exciting enough to fuck with.
4. I then said “um, this is a really, really bad time could you please call back in an hour?” and he said he would try. And then I apologized to everyone in the room. A LOT. LIKE. A LOT A LOT.
Never mind, I am most definitely being fucked with. It was not Lust.
