IDK if it’s been pointed out, but along with jung’s theory, the shadow is an archetype in “a hero has a thousand faces”. It is sometimes a foreshadowing of the evil the hero can become – often a separate being. Sometimes it is a part of our hero, and has been seen in a variety of forms throughout storytelling since the beginning of time.

@taysavestheday has a great blog/site that details a lot of Ascension trip one and two. Thanks for transcripting everything into a script like form, my imagination was able to easily bring an experience to life (through yours).

Yes. I saw the von dutch thing come up with reverse image search but it seemed a little far fetched. Until now.

I noticed that Sabrina Kern sure has hung with DLB a ton since ascension (having images on social media at various plays, hsngouts, etc.).

Could Sabrina and all of the original characters be shadow puppets projected by the osdm and…[Read more]

If it does use metaphor to ancient religious texts, I could dig it. As long as they don’t bring up a jesus, cause thats the guy who stole my bike in 4th grade. (Comedy purposes. Do not get offended)

I can’t help but think that brian guy is a part or he wouldn’t get so offended. At least I know if he tells me something like apologize for one comment to one person – I had better do so. He has a say so, and I can respect that. Maybe tell him that in your message out of game so he knows it isn’t just a rabid fan and it could lead to removal?

But what she said about the narrative… so is it changing based on our own individual interpretation? Did that happen to people with tension or something? It seemed to happen to Larry the playwright working with cast members *suspicious eye glance* ALSO HAS A SHADOW

Could what we know about Anoch be false? Could he be more than a fake god of a fake religion? Could it reference someone who is a metaphor to Enoch? He was Noah’s great grandfather in the bible.

Yes I was referring to the OSDM members post. Also, if OSDM isn’t a punny reference on bdsm (they’re sort of into torture) than I have inappropriately laughed when seeing the name way too often.

I have a guess that it will be a reveal in late narrative. As a writer, I know they wouldn’t take the time to let us know Anoch is the “head of the ranks in an organization, over seeing the ranks”, and a “God in a fake religion”. Could it be a reference to Enoch, Noah in the Bible’s great grand father? Time will tell if hope

I understand that. But the way it’s written in the book so differently from the other rankings or whatever makes me think “nothing is as it seems. Everything is a lie”
