I’ve always been amazed by the work of Hope For Paws, which rescues and rehabilitates and adopts out abandoned and homeless dogs in Los Angeles. If you’ve seen their videos, you probably also wish what they did wasn’t so necessary.

@genghistwan Incredible, thanks man. In the spirit of what you just started, donated to @shinobi’s choice of St. Jude’s.

Since @wanda102 asked for more charity recommendations, these are some organizations I support and have donated to in the past.

      Save The Children
      Brady Campaign
      Planned Parenthood
      ACLU

@genghistwan – I realize you already have a list but this one’s personal so:

The Redeeming Time Project, which is 95% of the way to its goal.

My husband and a good friend of his have started this project teaching theatre & Shakespeare to inmates in Minnesota prisons. This funds their first few workshops and helps get them off the ground.
