This feels very much like BOS type communication, with the puzzles and intercepting communications. Is this an attempt to get us all away from the OSDM by creating a fictional OSDM (how many of those are we up to by this point?) to lure us away from them?

So we’re all going to occult stores and buying sage, reverse candles, incense.

These are all ritual items for cleansing and reversing spells. Methinks we’re going to need these for something that’s coming. But what? Seems very New Age-y for the OOA.
